Zend Framework surpassed the .NET Framework!

Mike brought to my attention that according to Microsoft sources the Zend Framework has surpassed the .NET Framework. Think it's a joke? Go to MSN.com, search for "framework", and you'll see the Zend Framework appears first, and .NET Framework second.
And we're not even close to a release yet! :)

  3. Since when does MSN count :-)

The same searh on Google puts ZF on page 2.

It seems only the string 'php application framework' still favours actual frameworks over component libraries. Hmm. Must do something about the use of the word 'framework' as a buzzword, it overshadows true frameworks.

  4. Yeah I also checked Google. I just thought it was funny. Obviously Zend Framework is nowhere close to the .NET frameworks adoption :)

  6. Weird. I checked the feed and I didn't have any problems with the links. Can you email me an example?

  7. Good news! A search for framework on google now yields the 2nd spot (after .net).

    Congratulations.

  9. What's the reason for Alexa's spike in php.net and zend.com traffic in mid-April? noticed that and was curious.
